I took pages and pages of paper notes, I never saw the advantage of tablets in lectures. However there were people taking notes with an iPad, but only few. You might use it differently though, or you play Angry Birds, who knows

iPad's are useless for productivity, i believe they're only at school to impress the poshy rich people there.

But you might, you can always bring him in as a contract admin person for all your Samsung tablets I do not think KSA provides citizenships to people who are originally not from KSA, unlike USA which provides citizenship to anyone born here regardless of where the parents are from.
