I think it's still awesome regardless what phone it is. It's a way some one could use the T-Mobile without any compromise

Everything does but I think it's cool that they are doing. Att and Verizon or sprint doesn't do that

As long as I get good cellular data from at&t to replace Time Warner Crap's horrible Wi-Fi when I need to I don't care what they do.

Is it still free if something happens to the phone or if it gets stolen/"lost"?

I think they picked the worst loaner phone. It's so easy to break the screen or dent the bezel with those things.

Maybe they purposefully did that so someone would have to pay in case something happens to that. T-Mobile would make a fortune that way! And I mean fortune even for big companies.
