The thread was mostly interesting. It just goes to show you how much of an issue people have with science and scientific consensus. It's also a good example of what mistakes people make about science. I already know this though as I'm sure others like me do.

I feel terribly ripped off, this ******* stupid iPad Air WiFi doesn't have GPS?!

They got to be kidding! Stupid, stupid Apple. I mean for that price?! I wouldn't have believed it, but I googled why my iPad's GPS doesn't work...

Hi there! I just arrived in Cardiff!

Everything went well, my G3's GPS works flawlessly and the car charger I've bought is powerfull enough to charge it when it's running.

Haven't seen much more than motorways yet though ;-)

A class higher, a Peugeot 208.

I'll just ask for a refund for the GPS maps I bought on the iPad, but it's Apple, I guess my chances are slim.
