Sahib is in the US, so there is Walmarts there.

Here in the UK, Walmart owns Asda, but it looks nothing like Walmart for the most part, nowhere near as big or with the same quantity of stuff.

Negative interest rates. It's a thing now, apparently.

I wouldn't get used to the idea and the negative interest rates, after I read a long article on it, it's a temporary thing. No bank is going to give you money for getting a mortgage or investing. They always put a cost (a couple of percent or more depending) on top regardless. So you'll never get money back anyway.

Banks and money lenders always come out on top. Don't think otherwise.
