Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

It's a different crowd of people at the train station at 8:15...

Well that's me off work for a few days. Enjoying a rest, and getting my car fixed. Good times.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I had a problem with the intake manifold flap and egr valve, getting it replaced. Car has a warranty but its limited and isn't covered by this, so that's a ?340 repair out of my pocket.

Know the feeling all too well. We have warranty on our car and it's at the mechanic again for another oil leak. They did mention when the pressure returns to normal others could appear. However, it would appear their last fix might have been dodgy as well. Now we're not too sure that they're the best to take the car to. They seem to take forever to do anything. Two days without the car (should have it back today, I think) and the time before that was 5 days. That's just for fixing oil leaks...

All of which is not covered by the warranty... and they order original BMW parts...

The wife is not too impressed.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

For most parts I can get trade process and given the right amount of time I can do my own repairs. This past, though is a bit more specialist, so I needed to pay full price for it. Next on the list is some paint work.

Even if I wanted to fix things in the car I have no place to do it currently. Not that I can do much anyway.

We're thinking about doing some paint touch ups as well but not right away. A good buff should take care of most which will go along with the full detailing the car needs.

I really hate cars sometimes!

I'm currently searching for a good Bluetooth audio receiver for the car. As always, it's a question of which is the best solution.

I'm considering the G4. I also want to see what the new Nexus and Moto X are like once they're released.

Depending on how you feel about the camera, I may say add a Zenfone 2 into the mix as well. While it may be a bit bigger for a 5.5", the performance to price ratio is really good.

If I really wanted a spare Android that I would use equally with my Z3, I'd get a G4 for sure. If I didn't own a tablet, I'd have gotten a Zenfone 2 already and use it in that space phone/tablet like capacity.

Approved by Z3 Tablet Compact!

Summer weather in NYC...this is how it looked yesterday by Columbus Circle, the area in which I went for the project management training.

Right now? Overcast with an ominous feeling of a thunderstorm in the air...

You and MSFTisMIA are the ultimate public transit heroes. Can't imagine doing that here where I live knowing that it takes 1 hour to get to the middle of town via bus when I can do that in 10 minutes by car...

EGR valves are a pain or at least my Mazda 626 EGR valve was a pain to replace...
