Focus on what you're there to do and you'll be fine. Boring professors serve a purpose...life isn't always exciting and it is sometimes the mundane things that are the most important.

I took a Java course in college a few years ago but hated it. Development just did not appeal to me. I could've been an Android app developer had I liked it and stuck with it, since Android apps are Java-based.

I use to develop software using the original Kernighan & Ritchie C when I was young. Today, you're at the mercy of the framework that you use.



I'm using C# now and that on the screen is Visual Studio 2015 with a bunch of XAML code.

Depends. If you're going to program for iOS you'll need a Mac. If not then a Windows PC is fine for everything else.

It is a day of firsts... the new girl on the team at work starts today and I get to precept her. It is also the first class of the semester... yes, I'm back to waiting at the bus stop in 30?F weather with a glass and metal phone in the evenings. At least the 30?F weather is a few months away.

NYC life for the working class man ain't worth a damn. It's worth less when you're poor and disenfranchised...

In other news, the GF and I are all but set for tomorrow evening's cruise. We both haven't taken a "boat ride" as she likes to call it in a while. She's wearing a white dress with black accents and I'm wearing a white shirt, black slacks and a black and white tie.

Gonna take the Moto 360 along for this one for sure.

Almost going to start my 3 hour long class D: the only saving grace is that the subject is interesting
