WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I like the Key 2.
So if I was put on the spot and asked what would my daily drivers be now, I'd use a Key 2 and a G7/V40. I'd use the Key 2 during the week and the LG for weekends/scheduled outings.

I resigned to the fact that OEMs don't give two ****s and neither my fellow consumers. So I'd use the Key 2 for work and the G7 as a multimedia device. Guess I really love the wide angle camera for the versatility. I could swap the LG out for a Pixel 2 XL.

So I swallow LG's new tag line for the G7 and decided to have fun with it.

LG G7 ThinQ: "What's it going to take?"

MIA: "Better software support."

Got no idea either how I got through the work week. Got what I felt was 75% of my affairs in order and still anticipate a ton to do when I get back.
I think a break from work was sorely needed. We will see what happens when I return to work. Murky Waters are ahead indeed.

As I just found out, a break from everything is needed to recharge the batteries. Don’t stay home and relax, GTFO and do something, anything. Oh, and bring a flip phone only.

If only I owned a flip phone...lol. I should be ok though...

Excellent photos! What device did you use?
Pixel 2, still.

No new phones yet. The only thing I'd pick up now is a Nokia 8 on a killer deal, but getting something like a Key 2 or the newer LGs have to wait.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

It was a struggle updating to Oreo on the A3. Samsung decided to make changes to the file, which requires a newer version of Odin.

Even with that, I still had issues. It's finally updated but unfortunately that came with the unexpected cost of having my phone reset. Such a pain to set stuff again ( I have no backup, as I prefer the iOS way). Luckily, I backed up my texts, and call history. I was going to use it as a phone to try out Oreo but not yet.
So keep us posted on your experience.

So far, it's been alright. It doesn't feel faster or slower to me. Sadly, Package Disabler Pro no longer works though :(
I am interested in trying it out as a phone though, but I have to wait until next week to do that since I need WhatsApp this week.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Is it just me or does it seem like almost everyone loves the outdoors and/or are really into fitness, and also traveling on their profiles?

I wonder if getting into fitness would give me something to connect to but it seems kind of silly to try that just for that reason, even though there's another possible reason for me that isn't this. I struggle with being consistent though.

Everyone loves fitness until it's snowing outside.

All kidding aside, most young folks like you don't put much emphasis on fitness until the "big one" hits you like a ton of bricks. You should find some form of exercise that doesn't feel like a chore.

LOL.
I don't mind walking, but that's a great suggestion, thank you. I'll have to look into some things since I have heard that from 30 on, you apparently need the gym because stuff starts to fall. We'll see. I'll probably need some new shoes though...

My coworker has really enjoyed swimming and finds that to be her thing for exercise.

Getting fit and taking care of one's body in a positive way as a young person will pay dividends in the long run. It's nicer as a woman if you're getting that postive social reinforcement, but as Mr. Clue hinted at, waiting until you get a wake up call is t the smartest idea. Some wake up calls you don't wake up from.

I can believe that on all points actually. I'll have to consider some things to dabble with. Consistency can be a challenge for me but I do fear a scary wake up call.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

My fitness regime is simple.

Get out of a desk job.

Buy a farm.

Renovate

Work the land.

Don't change diet much. (I eat a pretty balanced diet)

Lose weight.

No idea how much I've lost but I've notched in three belt holes and my pants don't stay up without a belt.

Highly recommend my weight loss program...
