WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

My fitness regime is simple.

Get out of a desk job.

Buy a farm.

Renovate

Work the land.

Don't change diet much. (I eat a pretty balanced diet)

Lose weight.

No idea how much I've lost but I've notched in three belt holes and my pants don't stay up without a belt.

Highly recommend my weight loss program...

Nice!
I'll rather just lose a few and tone up.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Contemplating quitting the present desk job and head for the farm... Grow some fruit trees, organic vegetable etc..., acquire callouses on the hands, back aches, a farmer's straw hat, mosquitoes etc ..
Target is early next year.... when the farm house is ready to move in...

... !

WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

If I had a $100 for ever time I heard a woman say those words, stuff that I would be able to afford...

Well, I have been generally the same size (clothing size) for years. I don't mind it but it would be nice for clothes to fit even better...

Sounds like you have a solid plan already!

Have all that except the straw hat.

I refuse to look like a farmer. 🤣

Work in a volunteer garden. The workout is free and the results are great.

Even the benefits to yourself is good aside from the workout.

I believe it but this girl hates dirt. Also me and gardening is laughable. I'll have to look into something that works for me.

Would you rather a pick and a shovel? Oh no, that's all day in the sun. How about a jack hammer in the shade? That'll get you trim and toned in no time.

I pulled 20 years in the field doing plumbing/mechanical work and was fit as a fiddle. Injuries forced me out at the age of 40 and the waistline slowly grew from a 32 to a 40. Now I'm 6'0 tall so you can imagine how I looked at 200 lbs. with a 32 waist.

Well the desk job nearly killed me - literally - after I ballooned to 235 and had the HA. NOw I'm settled in at 205 and the waistline sits at 36. I walk about 4-5 miles per day just walking my projects but that stubborn belly fat refuses to cooperate. I'm afraid of those Andro and Low T pills that promise to make me 25 again so eff it.

If I had another $50 for every time I heard this one too, man, I could buy a farm...

There's always a price to be paid doing that work, even if you take care of yourself well. It's not easy.

I need to get into the gym. I've done OK weight Wise, but need to fill out a little more and fit the stomach fat as it makes me look not properly portioned. Such is the life indeed.

I also believe that but I wouldn't trust myself around a jack hammer. Sounds dangerous for someone like me. By that I mean that I don't have great coordination.

The Key 2 is temping. I like the look of the Oakland Raiders version. I want to try one in stores. I may be willing to regulate the Pixel 2 to back up/camera duties if I like what I see.

Ooh. I'm amused that you named it that way
It's an interesting phone for sure.

I was just reminded that I really dislike typing for extended stretches on glass. As I slowly start getting back to periodic content creation, the drawbacks of my current devices are evident.

If the keyboard is good enough, I could trade away easy access to stereo speakers an a class leading camera for better input options, a headphone jack and superior battery life.

We will see.

The Key2 will provide those without question. I'd be interested to see what the dual camera is like and how the SD660 fares over the 625. That price tag has to come down though.

Agreed. If someone walked up to me and offered the Raiders Key 2 and a T-mo Rose colored G7 for $900, I'd say - "I thinkQ I'll take that."
