I got this for free from being in the Local Guides program with Google. It's a custom case where you could pick one of the 5 boroughs of NYC. I picked the BX, as it's my favorite and the 1st one I lived in.

In other news we're heading into a heatwave.

It will be 37-38C (98-100F) for the next 5 days.

There is hope of rain next week sometime. We haven't had much in the last while and it's been 30 - 32C for the last two to three weeks. Everything it's getting brown here.

At least the evenings are cool. It drops to about 17-18C at night which is good. Though anything below 25C is considered cool at the moment.

It's been consistently around 100F since July 14 or so. And no sign of things letting up. Night time it only drops to about mid 70s or so.

I'm impressed at the efficiency in which Best Buy eviscerated any presence of Huawei in its shops, at least in reference to smart phones and Wear.

I'm sorry I missed out on that refurbished Mate 10 Pro for $450. It's a great reminder leason in the annals of cutting losses whenever there's a threat to earning potential...

They've been all over the place, filled with difficult things to navigate, and are seemingly untamable.

I'll admit that I'll like to try a Surface Go badly but I'm doing a thing this month where I note everything that I spend money on, bills included. I want to see how things look in a month where I'm not buying a device and when I am, so I'll delay my wanting to try this for now.
Also, I don't want to buy a type cover separately, I need a set, just outside of Costco's one.

Finally fired up the Idol 4s after a few months. Going to use it as a GPS in Costa Rica. Already downloaded the offline map.
