Weather app crashing at launch.

I wonder if anyone has this issue. My weather app is crashing at launch. Once I clicked it, it tries to open then closes. Tried soft reset, but didn't work. Thought about uninstalling and reinstall, but could not uninstall the app. The small icon for the weather app also only shows a blue background, but not the little sun which used to be in the middle of the icon. Screen shot as attached.


I am not on preview builds anymore, and the phone was just updated to redstone when it's been pushed out (ms dual sim unlocked version).

I checked for updates and there were none, and I have the app installed on my internal storage though. I wish there is a way for me to uninstall and reinstall it, but I couldn't.

you can wait for the next update or for itself to sort out.

Have exact same issue on 950XL: same pale blue icon and crash on startup. However the live tile seems to work?!

can you access the app with data off? Just to see what happens
