The animal featured in my image is a Rainbow Lorikeet. The photo was captured at home via a Nokia Lumia 1520 with automatic settings and edited in Adobe Lightroom. The bird is handraised and that is why I was able to capture the photo at such close range.

Taken by the Lumia Camera app with manual focus on my Nokia Lumia 720. No other editing done. (I personally think that the Carl Zeiss lens does good work, even with just 6.7 MP camera).
I took this photo casually when I had gone to my grandmother's place for holidays. I was getting bored so I decided to test my skills with the camera and taking random pics around the house. And this is what I got.

It is a bit difficult to get this cat to stay still, but this day was different, not only did it stay put, I was able to capture this close up shot of it.. it's name is Feo (Spanish for Ugly)-- reason being that it's mother was Fea which to my younger sister was ugly when it was younger.
