For my birthday I went on a trip to do some rapelling under a waterfall. But in order to get to this waterfall, I had to get on a train and then do a 2 hour hike. The photo was taken where the train stops and the hike begins. This was in Tobia, Colombia

I was on my way to work when the bus I was on had a breakdown, which was terrible considering that the temperature was above 40? Celsius and the bus stop was quite a long distance away. Along the way I came across this group of labourers taking shelter from the sweltering sun while waiting for work. The oldest amongst them (the subject in the picture) was taking a nap while the rest of them were chatting away when I took the picture. A bit of reframing and a dash of editing later, I ended up with this picture.
Two things are guaranteed in Michigan; wild weather and construction. This is a glimpse of the latter. I passed this site almost daily on my way to work this summer and happened to catch a good angle one day. I believe these will be future apartments for Wayne State students or professionals who live in the Midtown, Detroit area.
