- Hiking up in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, California U.S., then decided to take a couple snaps of the beautiful view. I brought my phone along the hike just to mainly get some snaps of the Hollywood sign... But I saw this perfect landscape of DTLA right behind the Griffith Park Observatory.
The little speck on the top left corner is the GoodYear blimp hah if only it was closer at the time..

STORY: During a trip to a cabin, my family and I had driven our boat into Sandpoint, Idaho to grab dinner. As we were leaving, the sunset was reflecting off the bridge that we were about to pass under so I quickly took out my phone and took the photo. The Outdoors - From a City Point of View



This is a picture of Over the Rhine (area just north of the city) from my favorite spot in downtown Cincinnati: The Carew Tower observation deck - taken on fathers day last year. As of this year, I have graduated from the University of Cincinnati and now have a full time position with Macy's corporate office downtown - so I get a view similar to this every day! Ironically both places are pictured here which is why this photo means so much to me. Just outside of the left side of the photo is the venue where my wife and I got married this past January: The Cincinnati Museum Center. The observation deck captures some of the best points of my life (so far)!

I guess I can't compete with your beautiful photos, because I live in country without sea, beaches, deserts... But instead we have lot of ancient monuments, etc.


This is my almost-everyday-view from, believe it or not, toilet at my work As far as I can remember, there are no edits, just photo taken with my beloved Nokia Lumia 920, probably using Nokia Camera (Beta). I took that photo at 6.49 in the morning, just before my day shift. Because it was winter (2013/12/03), the sun is just rising.

On the photo, you can see one of dominants of my city Brno (Czech Republic, Europe), Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul (Katedr?la svat?ho Petra a Pavla), which is located on top of the hill called Petrov. This Cathedral is shown on one of Czech coins (with 10CZK value, it's like $0.5 nowadays).

Photo from summit of a 14er in Colorado. We were racing an expected thunderstorm....the sky behind us was absolutely clear all the way to the summit. But the forecast wasnt wrong with the clouds moving in from the other side of the mountain. Taken with a Lumia 1520 and no editing.
