Hi,
I own a Lumia 930, bought it in France (via Darty - so it's unlocked). I run it in English.
For some reason, every time I restart my phone (i.e. when battery dies and I turn it on again) - A keyboard in Arabic is being added to my keyboards list. I remove it every time, but it pops right back up on the next reset.
It's important to mention, that I don't have any connection to anything Arabic, so I have no idea what is causing this keyboard to keep being added.
Any help, please?? This is all so very annoying...

***I also posted this on answers.microsoft.com and I'll update here if someone helps me figure it out over there.

What languages do you have installed? It might be because of a different alternative keyboard... Me & my wife both have the same issue.

Isn't Arabic the second official language in France? ;)

Go to Settings/Languages and remove all languages except the one you use.

Same issue here with Arab being added to Hebrew and English...
But a friend told me that the issue is non-existent in the developer version, and that it should be fixed in the next update.

Hey, do you still have this problem? Because I still do, and I really don't know what to do with it and the newer versions won't fix it. It's annoying and happens every time I restart the phone.

Dear Jamie
What country variant phone do you have. What are the Region settings. Which keyboards are installed.

Mine is CV - GB (Great Britain/uk) I have language set to English and region set to UK (even though I am in Belgium). Mainly because I want the use of Cortana. As I said above, I have the German keyboard and voice installed. I have just performed a hard reset so I will let you know if the keyboards are still there.

I have the same issue with the Arabic keyboard. It has been like this for a while now. Still waiting on some sort of fix for this :/

Does anyone have any news about this issue from any of the new versions?
Reminding that the issue is that in certain regional settings, keyboards from unwanted languages are being added automatically to your phone each time you reset your device, even if you remove them.

I have a solution but it's far from being practical.
1. Take your SIM card out of your device
2. Uninstall/remove the unwanted keyboard
3. Restart...and the unwanted keyboard won't be installed over and over again
Of course it will be installed once you insert the SIM card back
