Well the ride is finally over

it's so sad to see in the last month Win Pho 8.1 finally truly failing. apps not updating, not connecting, things just not working any more. it was the best ever for a mobile device and there is nothing to go to that matches it. iOS is crap, android is meh, win 10 mobile is a shadow

That's sad. I enjoyed the OS for the most part. In fact, one of my favorite things was actually being able to pin the battery saver tile to my home screen with an active percentage. Another thing was also being able to use the white theme with an always black navigation bar.

8.1 seems to be fine for my dad, but he only uses WhatsApp so I guess he should be good to go.

That's a shame indeed. Enjoyed 8.1 quite a bit while using it then wished for more, got WM10, headed downhill from there. :unhappy: Glad in a way that my 830 was upgradable to 10 yet that's kinda mute now since I never use it, gonna be in the same boat soon enough anyway.
