Hello, I've just encountered a problem when playing my mp3 in my Lumia 900, and my phone doesn't play many songs and gives the error "We're having trouble verifying your Zune music pass, try syncing your phone with your PC using Zune software, or restart your phone and try again."

I don't have a Zune music pass, and these mp3's have no DRM, directly synced from my computer.

What I find to be very strange, is that for example 10 mp3s from the same album, some of them are not playable and got that error, some of them have no problem. I've tried googling for solution but just can't find any. Hope to get it solved, thanks!

When was the last time you synced your 900 to your PC?

I recently got that message but syncing with my PC seemed to have fixed it.

Oh I forgot to mention that the mp3s are synced from a Mac.

I've just tried to sync my 900 on both mac and PC but the problem still exists. My PC has no songs at all so nothing is transfered into the 900 when synced.

This is funny because I DO have Zune Music Pass music files on my phone that I stopped paying for 3 months ago that I can still play fine. And I sync to my PC every couple of days.

On your PC, open up Zune and go to Settings > Account > Computers and Devices and make sure all your computers and your phone are listed.

i just started getting this error message too.

looks like you have to delete all the files from the phone,
and re-sync them again.

that seems to work mostly.

i was still getting this error message with some files.

it turns out, that if i re-encoded the files, and then made a new playlist that would work.

after deleting the original files from the phone.
