What can I do to fix it?

My nokia 822 was getting the windows 10 preview but now it doesn't turn on, it only gets to the updating logo and turns off

Get Lumia Recorvery Tool, plug in your device into your PC, download the update and then install it on your decive (Everything is done by Lumia Recorvery Tool). Your phone will be working after that - well, it might be.

After recovery, give it another try. The newest build runs great on the 822. Even better than previous 10136 & 10149.
