what causes the flickering of my nokia 1020 lock screen

my nokia 1020 works perfectly the phone is about seven months old but about two days ago the lock screen or when the time display appears it started flickering or blinking until the time display goes off, when the screen is unlocked every thing is ok please help?

have you dropped your device recently? could be a hardware issue. perform a soft reset and check if it help to perform soft reset hold together volume up + power key until phone reboots.
