What Did They Do To My Poor Nokia Text Tone?

Did this happen only after updating to Amber?

If so, a quick soft reset then hard reset should help.

I'm sure that there's a way to get it back other than that.

It involves getting the song from the internet, syncing it to your phone and using the Nokia Ringtone Maker.

The tones definitely changed with GDR2.

Yeah they changed it with GDR2. Same thing happened with my 521. I like the one better... Lol.

The text and alert tones both changed for sure after GDR2/Amber. I noticed this immediately after I got the update on my 920. Disappointing, but alas, I've gotten used to them over the past nearly two months.

Now that we can do custom ones with GDR3, does anyone have the old one? I still want to change back...

Seems that I'm the only one that's used to WP's vanilla tones. The ones that Microsoft put in there are the ones I'm used to, and they sound great
