Instead of focusing on what apps are or are not available for Windows Phone, I thought it may be interesting to see how users actually use their phones.
Personally, I only use my phone (to make phone calls) roughly 5% of the time - if that.
My breakdown includes:
30% News and Information (Weave, Fuse, WPCentral, CNN, Amazing Weather, etc)
20% Email
15% Surfing the Web
10% Quick Reference (IMDB, All Recipes, etc)
5% Maps & Navigation
5% Books (Kindle)
5% Photos
5% Phone & Txt Messaging
5% Social (Twitter)
(No, I did not forget to include Games)
I thought this kind of information may be of some value for developers, since it focuses on usage rather than missing or inferior apps.
