What Exactly Is My Default Region?

Does this happen to you? In Windows 10, (Build 14316rs_1) I thought I would set a default language of English US but when I did, Cortana says my region and language doesn't match. But I am in the correct region. See video below that Cortana does not.

Have you gone into Settings, Time and Language, then Region to see what it has showing as your default region? I'd check there, first.

I don't suppose by choosing English_US anyway that I would lose any Cortana functionality but the popup was a surprise.
