What happened to 'Exploding tiles'?

There were rumors about exploding tiles to be included in the win10 But there seems to be no news about it!
No such feature in any of the released Windows phone 10 builds. Are there any chances that MS may surprise with the final & official win10?
I am curious about those exploding tiles. So asking u guys whether do you have any idea about it?

I don't remember it being confirmed by Windows Central or another reputable site that it was coming in Windows 10. IIRC, it was suppose to be in the Update 2 that was suppose to launch alongside McLaren, but since Microsoft cancelled it, there really doesn't seem to be a reason to have it. I'm not sure if it will every make it to Windows tbh. One of the problems was that developers reportedly didn't think they were very useful and couldn't do a proper job of integrating them well.
