What happens between build jumps? 14393 to 14901

The redstone builds were in the 143xx range and now the new branch is starting off with 149xx builds. What happens to change the build numbers the way they do? Were there any builds in between or this is just arbitrary?

Perhaps they were builds in the internal ring (Canary?) that were never released.
Only MSFT would know for sure.

Actually, Buildfeed (.net) lists many internal builds, and it jumped straight from 14393 to 14832.
BUT, that build was compiled in April: Maybe they have a different team working on these "OneCore" improvements, that started working on it a while ago?
