What is "error code 80860009" and how do i resolve it?

I have a new lumia 635 and made a typo in my e-mail address when registering for a microsoft account and it won't let me sign in to rectify it!

Since most probably nothing is installed yet in your phone (no Microsoft Account registered yet), you could perform a hard reset on your phone and then make sure the correct email address is entered next time.

Settings > about > reset your phone
