I just upgraded my phone from a Samsung Exhibit 4G to a Nokia Lumia 920 a couple of months ago. I'd have to say that whereas my Exhibit 4G's screen was tiny (only 3.5"), my Lumia 920 (4.5") is about just right. While I miss being able to completely wrap my hand around my phone (gripping the phone with my fingers, and then reaching the farthest edge of the screen with my thumb) and text with only one hand, 4.5" is good enough to use while reading news articles or browsing the web! Not that small, but almost just right!

Anything between 4.25 to 4.75 is in the sweet spot for me. I would say 4.4 is just right.

I would take something a bit smaller than my 1020 (probably 4.2-4.3 inches) as long as it was 1080p (NOT PENTILE).

1020 feels just a tad to large.

I've been using the Lumia 620. It is 3.8 inches. And I'm alright with it as it fits in to my hands and I can text/whatsapp with just one hand!

The largest I would go would be 4 inches.

Following like the iPhone at 4 inches with curved edges is the ideal smartphone for me.

Anything bigger should be a tablet or phablet.

I have all current Lumia screen sizes at the moment, having the 520, 620, 810, 820, 920, 1020, and 1520 in my collection. I think my fav is the 4.5" size, but I think if I could get my hands on a 5" icon, that would probably be my fav. The 6" screen isn't anywhere near as annoying as I thought it would be, but it is still somewhat cumbersome. But the third column of tiles was REALLY, REALLY awesome. So much nicer than I thought it would be. In fact, I thought I wouldn't like it at first. So I think a 5" with three columns of tiles would be ideal for me. After using the 1520 for a month and a half, I think the large screen spoiled me and now I find the 4.5" screen small.

One thing that surprised me though, was that typing was harder on the 1520, because that was the one thing I thought for sure would be better with the large screen.

5 inch is ideal for me. Larger than 5,5 inch looks exaggerated.

I held this phone in my hands today, and I must say it is GIGANTUOUS !

6.5" screen. Enormous phone, even looks rediculus when making a call...

A friend brought it with her today and showed it to me. She said she bought it because she hardly ever makes a phone call and she likes the size for browsing...

...Euhm...then buy a tablet maybe ??
