My perfect Windows Phone will be red, has a 4.5 inch screen (don't care for huge screens), an impressive camera, supersensitive touch, AMOLED display, 64 gigs of onboard storage and FREAKING microSD card support!!

That's pretty much it, maybe some awesome speakers too.

Ideal windows phone for me will be the one with
? A 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED display (because 5" 1080p is just too mainstream)
? The latest quad core processor - 801 or 805 but not 800
? A 20MP cam (obviously) and
? A beautiful METAL unibody with polycarbonate back (just like the 925)

Basically, an 820 with a bigger battery and a bit more on board storage (perhaps 16gig but keeping the SD slot). They could make the screen a little bigger, but not a lot. Still phone sized not tablet sized. Oh, and a 6 megapixel camera instead of an 8 would be grand. Same sensor size mind, just without over gunning the pixel count. Keep the fantastic swappable shells of course.

The 820 is almost perfect. A few tweaks (and the latest processor of course) and nothing else would come close.

Add a microsd slot to the Nokia Icon. Lack of SD support is th eonly reason I haven't bought one yet. Waiting to see if one of the new phones announced with the general release of Windows Phone 8.1 will have an Icon-like device with SD support.

Having used the 520 and the 920, my perfect phone would consist of the following:

  • 4" HD screen
  • Body size similar to 520, but it needn't be of the same material - e.g. a sturdy industrial finish seen in the Zune 80 or Zune HD would be nice
  • 8 or 16GB internal storage
  • Expandable SD storage
  • 2000+ mAh battery
  • Quad core processor
  • 1 or 2GB RAM
  • 8MP main camera / 2PM front facing camera

4.7 inch display 32GB + MicroSD card slot, design like 930, but thinner and lighter, or design like 925. 3GB RAM. 20MP camera is enough for me with 8MP front facing camera. 3000mAH battery is just fine.

Lumia 1020-specs, plus built-in Qi wireless charging and 120GB storage onboard with SD card slot for expansion. I'm tired of exactly ZERO devices on the market being able to hold my entire music, photo and video collection along with apps and docs. And enough of the "there's no need for that storage because of the cloud." Well, the cloud doesn't amount for much in a subway tunnel or when I hit a data cap. I want local access to all my files with no need to sync and resync my phone every few days just to get some variety in my media files.

My perfect device would look like LG Nexus. Large internal memory and micro SD card. It would have HD radio built in, working without earphones plugged in, full HD graphics screen and good camera. All other internals are up to you: snapdragon or and, does not matter to much.

My perfect device is a flagship Windows Phone.

- fast CPU (quadcore) like snapdragon 801 which is used in the One Plus One
- 3 GB RAM or higher
- 4.5" AMOLED Display
- supersensitive touchscreen like these ones of the Lumia 920 or 1020 for example to use with gloves
- 64 GB or more of internal storage
- micro-SD slot
- 3500 mAh accu or more
- fingerprint scanner
- Microsoft Excel which was used in the old Windows Mobile 6.5 devices, so that it is really usable and not like the current Version in every Windows Phone 7-8.1 which is not much more than a read only version.
- makro support in Excel
- the possibility to choose an automatic upload of pictures and videos in full resolution WITHOUT wifi.
- glance screen

But the most important is the Camera:

-Pureview technology and Nokia Camera
-41 MP or more for a better digital zoom
-ois
-videos in 120 fps AND 1080p resolution
-front camera like the rear camera of the Lumia 820 for example.

This would be my perfect mobile device
So when can I buy it (in Germany) 😉

Lol you really don't want 1020 specs... The processor is really outdated

I love my 1020, but, for perfect device these features would be awesome:
- Side by Side multitasking
- 5" screen
- Top of the line Chipset
- 3Gb+ of RAM
- 1080p screen would be also nice but 720p is nicer with
battery
- That big fancy camera of 1020 with a bit of up to date
tweaks:
- a bit faster opening and shutter speeds
- and something fancy Microsoft could figure out
- 64Gb of memory with an microSD card slot I would
not need
- And to be very greedy, faster response
times from the software side, like app resume times.
- Interactive live tile experience with live tiles so big they
could fill up the screen at ones. Sort of "apps" on the
homescreen.
- Nokia's Play To functionality built into the system.
- Qi, NFC etc.
- Water-resistance
- Gorilla Glass
- Better Battery with capital B

And That is it for now... 😎
