With windows phone 8.1 users have option to customize action centre. But there is something missing , sound off in comments
I want to have Mobile data option and set an application for fast access from within action centre. Also add this when I turn off the Wi-Fi , it takes me back to Wi-Fi settings , It should turn off the Wi-Fi when I tap on it.

+1 for mobile data and Wi-Fi. And quick Silent/vibrate function from 8.0

They should just make anything in settings a quick action and everyone would be happy forever.

You can turn silent/vibrate on/off pretty much the same way....

1. hit volume up or down to bring up the volume bar

2. touch the "v"

3. Vibrate on/off toggle is there and if you want to silent the ringer/notifications and/or media/apps just touch their respective symbols.

Yes it is a few more touches but still fairly quick.

Well i think Microsoft likes to keep OS real and don't copy from other OS like Android

I know this, still liked the other one more

Why cant MS create scrollable [horizontally] for adding more actions? it will still remain Windows UI as our Windows 8 live tile is scrollable ;)
I would like to have notifications added to indicate Silent mode, Ringer mode, vibrate Off etc shown when there are no Valid notifications from Apps.
Next major notification would be Music App adding Song being played :D

Individual Notification from APP could be marked read by swiping left..

If they did that clueless people wouldn't use it. Just look how clueless they are about the charms in windows8.

I don't get why you want music in notification centre? Isn't it accessible with the volume keys. It will just take space in notification centre, and will be a copy of Android..

I didnt mean to have MUSIC PLAYER.. i meant the Name of music being played.. Just like we got Popup in Winamp VLC etc... New Track playing..

Just got a new idea, why cant Notifications show if DataConnection activated, WiFi limited Access/connected/disconnected etc?

Horizontal Scrollable Action Center(Showing all available Quick Action icons)Will be good if they given option to toggle these horizontal Scroll Action Center

More Deep integration notification center.

Now there is no notifications for store while updating the apps or after installing the apps
BT file transferring process also not showing in notifications bar and no notifications about completion of file transfers
If downloading any thing in BG from browsers , Individual Apps no notifications showing in Notification center
More Options on available notifications like swiping left(to read as some one mentioned above), if we pressed on notifcation for a while showing options like Reply etc

Still didn't get you. I can see the name of the music by hitting the volume keys.. You are right on the limited/connected part.. Gotta agree you..

Deeper integration should've been there. It is being called notifications+action centre, but it shows the notifications only. It should show the ongoing ACTIONS on the phone. Microsoft again delivered incomplete product. They had a chance to get off with the 8.1 update, but they screwed it as always..

Completely agree after seeing 8.1 in live though it is DP.

They need to develop lot of features to compete with Android(if they want) and should be in strictly time manner unlike taking years IMO.

Data Connections and Wifi Off from the Action Center itself. Apps downloading should be shown in the Action Center, so that we can keep an eye on the progress instead of opening the App Store.
Hope, to get all these during the Official Release.

I dont think MS is not listening to Users!! It's just a short span Win8 made its debut. Win8.1 has a lot of features and change log, one cannot simply say MS is not giving a good product. Android took some 3 years for a better reach and dominate the market. We should give it a time to get all the features, more better ones as well. I have all the stuff that I needed, from the 8.1 update. Pretty decent update.

WiFi signal strength is indicated by the number of bars of the WiFi icon, I don't see the need for getting a notification for little things such as connected/disconnected from WiFi. Also, you'll know if you're using cellular data if the data icon (LTE, 4G,H+, H 3G etc.) is displayed at the top in place of the WiFi icon.
