What should I do after my one year of Windows 10 activation ?

Is the windows 10 update free forever for windows 8.1 users or it costs money after one year ?
If so how much it costs ?

The statement was that it's free to upgrade in the first year for all users of Windows 7 and Windows 8. If you don't then you pay.

Meaning you keep W10 and don't pay anything. Your computer won't revert back to W7 or 8.

If there's any cost associated with Windows upgrades past that point it hasn't be mentioned.

If you don't update in that first year you will pay for the update.
