What will the Reception be like

Currently where i live reception is very poor. 80% time no signal on my Droid Razr. friends on the same network has full reception so it must be the phone fault.

so yea would the Lumia 920 have good reception

What phones do your friends have?

I thought Motorolas usually have good RF reception.

Iphone 4s, HTC and another Motorola Defy i think it is

Get a replacement. That Motorola should have good reception. I fear you got a lemon.

To answer the question, reception should be sound. Although yeah, sounds like you got a dud. Make a claim with Motorola.

Nokia knows how to make phones, flat out. One thing everyone said about the outgoing Lumia line, from the lowly 610 all the way up to the flagship 900, is they all had excellent reception and call quality. Ultimately, that's the biggest reason my next phone will be from Espoo. I work in a rural area with very sketchy coverage, which negatively affects not only battery life, but my ability to get help if something happens.

That being said, Motorola also knows how to make phones. I think yours may have an issue.

When I had the Lumia 900 I got much much much better reception than my current Galaxy Nexus.
