What windows edition will windows 10 be available?

Hi! I heard windows 10 will be available for free. It's even available for pirated devices. This was really a good piece of news to hear from Microsoft.

I would like to know what all windows edition will windows 10 be available for??? I currently have a Windows 7 Ultimate. Is this edition in Windows 10 list?

I think it'll line up with Windows 8's editions.

a base version for most people.
a Pro version that has some extras.
a Media Center addon depending (although that parts speculation on my end)

This. Keeping it simple is good. We don't need Basic, Home, Pro, Professional and Ultimate anymore.

it won't be free. if you have a legal copy of windows 7 or 8 you can upgrade it for free to windows 10.
if your copy is not genuine you can update it but your copy will stay non-genuine
