What's happened to the people app?

The what's new section of the people app used to consolidate all the entries from Facebook and twitter into a single endlessly scrolling list. Now twitter posts have gone and the list is limited to 7-8 items only.

Some of it has to deal with APIs no longer being supported (Facebook for example) so the companies can have tight control over the appearance of the app (and ad revenue I assume). In the WP7 days it was my favorite feature, but it has slowly become unuseable as anything other than a contacts list. I could hardly even keep it pinned to the screen with the circles either.

Windows phone 7 and possibly 8 people hub was a joy to use, since then it's just been chipped away at and now useless, what is going on, such a shame.

It's working again! Weird. Still no twitter feeds, but Facebook is at least is showing a endlessly scrolling feed.

That feature should be brought back to WM10 in future .
