whats this icon for ???

So this is on my lumia 930 & i thought it was to do with new notifications but it is there even when i have no notifications & even when cleared it comes back

It's for notifications. It's a bug in preview build. Showed up on my 930 & my 1520

Yeah, it's annoying when you turn on the phone, think you have a message and when you pull down for notifications...nothing. Hoping against hope for bug fixes this week. Probably not though, since 10 for PC is launching.
