Whatsapp desktop setup help?

Figured it out - use WhatsApp on my phone to scan the QR code....just like the instructions said....



Hello,

I am trying WhatsApp for desktop - I ran the set up and it shows a QR code. I tried a QR reader (two of them) and it just shows txt. Nothing happens. I thought it would redirect to a site or WhatsApp. I have WhatsApp on my W10 phone....

What is supposed to happen?

Or am I just 'simple'?

Suggestions?
