WhatsApp doesn't open when language is English(US)

Hello guys, I am an Indian Lumia 720 owner.
I'm having a strange problem that my WhatsApp doesn't load chats & everything when I set the language & region settings to U.S. to use Cortana.
When I change everything back to India it works.
Can anyone provide a solution?
I'm using wp 8.1 update 1 without cyan firmware.
