WhatsApp not working

WhatsApp doesn't open at all. Checked for updates,no nee updated. On NL820, Lumia Cyan (preview for developer disabled currently).
Anyone else experiencing this issue? The tile is dimmed ot blackened....

Reinstall.. Happened to me.. no other way to get it back.

Dimmed for me too yesterday.. Went back to normal in 2-3 minutes. And reinstall is not a problem.. You don't lose your messages.

Oh I thought if I uninstall and reinstall I will lose all my messages... Are you sure I won't lose?

I dint get you.. Did you reinstall and still have the same problem ? Is that what you're saying?

Reinstalled and WhatsApp works but all my chats gone. I do have a backup but it isn't picking and restoring, I don't know why. Should I keep it main memory for that to happen?

Yes, previous WhatsApp was storing in main memory.

No.. My backup is on the Sd card.. No idea why it wont pick that up..
