WhatsApp "played" status

Didn't nobody notice that a few hours ago WhatsApp "released" a new feature? Now when you send a voice note and the other side plays it your checkmarks turn blue to indicate that the receiving party has listened to your voice message! I noticed this a few hours ago, not earlier so I suppose they enabled it on the server today. My Android friend confirmed it, too.

That would actually be more useful to me. I never use voice notes in WhatsApp.

Its been there for last 4 months at least. (the update we had before the recent) the microphone color changes

I didn't know since I don't use voice notes, so I thought it was new.

I use voice notes all the time and I got color changes today. Maybe some people got it before others? Anyway, yes: Text messages read status will be even more useful!

We have it now
