Whatsapp send message key not appearing at bottom anymore

Anyone else having problems with Whatsapp and the send message key? it used to be directly in the centre at the bottom of the screen... but now it's been replaced with the "select message" key.. i have no idea why that happened, it was fine yesterday now everytime i try hit send message it pops up with select message then i have to go back, and then hit the actual enter key on keyboard.

My phone is Lumia 950 XL just wondered if anyone else has this annoying problem and knows how to fix it? :crying:

Hey mate you obviously don't keep up with Windows news. The app got updated couple days ago. There were complaints about the send button being too close to the windows key at bottom of screen. So now the select is at the bottom and the right arrow for entering text is, well on the right at the end of the message window. Check it out.

They made it identical to Microsoft Messages. The right arrow key sends messages. Come on,,,,

some people complain and they just bend over and let the other people suffer, same as the onedrive placeholders thing, well here's what you can do:
do not update it

Thank you for the replies. I sadly don't have time to keep up with the microsoft news and all that stuff anymore, just too busy with work. and i guess it's my fault for having automatically update on

You don't use enter to send messages? Also the new send button is so recognisable, it's used everywhere, how could you not see it (and ofc it's better than the one at the bottom-of-the-screen bar).

I usually have enter set as my send, so no need to find a send button. Even so they have placed it correctly now, cause I did notice it was a hassle at the bottom of screen.

Most of us works or got a busy private life, and doesn't follow news hour by hour... It was only a "looking at the screen"

Holy he doesn't keep up the news, no big deal guys.

My wife hates the new placement, and I like enter key for massive WhatsApp posts lol

I welcome the change but hit the select message button too much so that's a bit annoying
