Today my WhatsApp free 1yr subscription expired. There was no warning. The app simply went transparent as though it wasn't actually installed and when I tried to press to launch the app it refused to launch. Eventually I had to reinstall the app. However this time I got a registration message giving me 1 additional free month. I'm not against paying for apps (I've spent my share of money on apps of far lesser value) but something about paying for an app when there are equally efficient substitutes available for free, insults the idea me being a "rational consumer." The only free app I wont download is fb messenger. Everything else is fair game.
I'm not cheap! I'm just expect more 'freeness' - made up words are the best.
