when playing music and put on shuffle, if i change song via

If I go back to the music app and change songs it is random. But sometimes it stops working all together until I restart it.

Are you facing this in the Music App or Mix Radio on Windows 8.1 or Groove Music on Windows 10? Basic troubleshooting for any app if it's not working though all setting are intact - Uninstall and Re-install.
