When to give up hope on Lumia 650

The updates have slowed to a crawl with Windows 10 Mobile. Couple that with a firmware patch never released by my carrier for the Lumia 650.

I love my Windows phone, but let's be honest, when is it time to hop ship back to Android or jump to iOS?

I'm not giving up hope yet, but when are you guys thinking of changing mobile platforms?

I recommend going into stasis with WM.
Recovery is suspect for the OS especially on the hardware front.

I moved to Android instead of torturing myself with OS dysfunction.
When WM rights itself and if anyone starts building cool WM phones I will move back.
Don't stress too much...like some do.

This. There is no reason to be married to one company with the variety of smartphones available. It's not like you can't switch back in the future.
Find what works best for you and enjoy the experience. No worries.

If it works, keep it. If not, dump it. I switched to an Iphone, while keeping my 950xl as a backup. I asked my beautiful young bride if she wanted me to get her an Iphone to replace her 640 and she said, no.
