When trying to download my photos from Onedrive they are grayed out, how can I do this?

When trying to download my photos from onedrive they are greyed out

Please help, I am so very frustrated with one drive live. When I go to download any photos from my one drive live they are grayed out. Does my one drive and microsoft office have to have the same username and password? I've been trying for days to figure this out and cannot.

Both accounts should share the same Microsoft Account.

Fred can not access Jim's OneDrive, unless Jim makes the files public.

Log into your OneDrive via PC Browser. Make a new Folder and move the photos you want to use into that Folder. Make the Folder public and allow downloads. Send the account bearing the Word document a link to the folder and you should get the job done.

I am beyond frustrated. I have the same problem and have been researching for a month all totalled up the time I have spent. I've changed passwords almost every time I sign into either my microsoft account or onedrive. Totally not user friendly!!!!!
