​Haha, I'm just in the process of flashing my phone with the Rogers firmware too. Oh well. I was on Windows 10 so I was likely going to have to revert anyways. Will post how it went.

I'm with Rogers. Using the Lumia recovery tool I got the proper Denim with the enhanced Lumia camera. Man, it is nice to have a smooth OS again coming back from Windows 10. Hopefully the next build on the 830 will be better.

Was able to play with Denim on my mother's Lumia 1520... Hey Cortana is awesome and works great, too bad we won't be getting that feature. It's a bit of a pain to set up though. The enhanced camera features are as great as advertised.

GOT DENIM YESTERDAY ! YAY!

Had to use the Lumia Recovery Tool (the one from Microsoft, not the Nokia one), download was 1.79GB.
Entire process went smoothly: had to re-enter credentials for Microsoft account, wifi and other email account but that was expected. Last backup was restored successfully, my Start screen is exactly as it was before upgrade, and all apps got re-downloaded with no problems.

Phone is RM-985_1000 from Fido, Qc, Canada
OS version is now : 8.10.14234.375
Firmware is now 02040.00021.15063.02001

Lumia Camera now has Rich Capture and starts faster than before from the camera button; haven't had time to check out other stuff - anything else I should be keenly aware of?

Hi, I was wondering if you could explain how you did get it with the Lumia recovery Tool.. Yesterday I was using Nokia Care suite and Data manager...and I had to copy some files and download the update...then flash...etc.

Are you using another tool with less steps?

Just checked and I have an update for my Bell Lumia 830!!! Right now I can't download or install since I'm at work... If somebody can verify hopefully this will be the Denim update!!!!!

I have a Fido Lumia 830 and can confirm the update shows up on my phone. The details indicate it is firmware version 8.10.14234.375, so it's definitely Denim.

Will download when I get home.

Happy you guys are getting the update. Although I can't help but laugh at how Microsoft treats its unlocked LAM and NAM variants as not 1st or 2nd, but 3rd class citizens of the Windows Phone world. Even the RM-938 (Americas version of the Lumia 1520) was one of the last, if not the last 1520 variant to receive Denim. Now they're doing the same with the 830.
