Happy you guys are getting the update. Although I can't help but laugh at how Microsoft treats its unlocked LAM and NAM variants as not 1st or 2nd, but 3rd class citizens of the Windows Phone world. Even the RM-938 (Americas version of the Lumia 1520) was one of the last, if not the last 1520 variant to receive Denim. Now they're doing the same with the 830.

You know what, I might end up flashing the Rogers ROM. This wait is killing me, especially when the Rogers ROM is totally unbranded and has the Field Test menu enabled. I also have a Rogers Lumia 920 which is completely unbranded minus the carrier name in settings >> about

Thought about the same the last two days hearing denim is out for Rogers. I had my 920 flashed to Rogers as well back when....
What are we using now. Nokia care suite?

RM-985 owner here, with 000-22 country code. I guess this is the Latin American version. I happened to install the technical preview for Windows 10 and now wanting to return to 8.1. Unfortunately, Both Windows Phone and Lumia recovery tools failed to find stock packages for this country's ROM so I'm going with the nuclear option using Nokia Care Suite to find a Canadian ROM to flash. I'm thinking whether I should install the Rogers version. I'm in United States on T-Mobile so AWS (1700MHz) LTE is necessary. Do you know the proper product code for RM-985 for the Data Package Manager?

Thank you very much kind sir. I have flashed the device with the Rogers variant and then OTA update to full denim. Worked like a charm LTE and internet sharing is still intact.

Wonder whether that also works for rm-983.... Will try something on the weekend.

It won't, they're different hardware variants. Besides ATT variant is currently not flashable to another variant

If you check the 920 forum there is a sticky with the flashing instructions. Replicate the dead flash process for the 830

Finally received the Denim update on my Telus carrier locked L830 here in western Canada, will be interesting to see if it has eradicated some or all of my previous bugs/annoyances.

New phone - I'll wait. The bummer is I bought the 830 for the better camera and that is the ONLY thing I am interested in Denim for.

With the win-10 clap trap, msoft seems to have lost interest in anything and/or everything else.

With Sataya as CEO I had hoped for better things, but then thinking about it, the programmers are too interested in the gee-wizz aspects to "waste," time on things that really matter to the users. I have employed lots of programmers in my lifetime, sadly, I know well of what I type.

Took the bait and flashed my US RM-985 to the CA ROM...I guess I was being too restless waiting for MS to release the update to its unlocked variants the last :-/
