Keep in mind that Update 2 is supposedly not too far behind. As a result, carriers may opt to wait until then to officially push the update, especially if there is new firmware involved too.

I followed the page quoted by maaz mansori .
Went and updated my L930 I now have Folders and Cortana , All my app's and other programs still work ,I'm happy at how easy it all was and would recommend doing it to anyone .

I'm guessing the new Lumia Firmware (Debian Red is the codename apparently) will be announced next week with the Lumia 730/830?
So it would start rolling out a couple of months later?
Just educated guessing tbh, I could be totally wrong.

Seeing as cyan & 8.1 are yet to complete rolling out am guessing we'll have to wait till about December

I'm pretty sure it will start rolling out in October and later. Don't expect anything before.
