I know you guys have stories lets hear them. Where and how did you get your Verizon Trophy? Think you got a good deal tell us what you paid and how you got that great deal.

 Dave

I ordered mine on-line from Verizon Wireless; the cost was $29.99 plus taxes/line activation. I ordered late at night on 12/6/11 and received it on 12/8/11.

Bought mine on eBay for $200 so I could "save" my 2 year upgrade should there be a nice new phone in the next year.

Yip. This is exactly what I did. Mine was pretty much new. Not sure if yours was the same. Actually, I did have a TITAN; but I couldn't put up with the poor signal from AT&T. I have been a long time Verizon customer and just switch to AT&T just to buy that phone. Well, the phone is awesome; but the service sucks (for me at least). So, I won a bit for $202 on eBay and will be porting back to big red.

Next year, maybe summer, I'll load up on a new LTE device with a large screen and then I'll feel at home.

Picked up a second Trophy today on Craigslist for 110.00. The phone is basically new with no scratches at all. Some people have no idea that they could easily sell it for more than that.

I just got mine for $30 from Verizon's website (I'll get the $25 gift card, though). I know, I know. I used my upgrade on the Trophy. However, my mom said she'd upgrade to the phone I want (as long as I pay) and we could simply switch them out. :)

I talked to a rep on the phone and she was very supportive of the Trophy. I think she really just wanted to make a sale, though. I also chatted online with a rep and I think she was really just polling me about the phone (eg: why I chose it).

I just ordered mine from vverizon today for $30. At first I wanted to use my upgrade on the nexus or the rezound, but I just couldn't resist the chance to give WP a try. Plus, I can't afford to shell out $300 for a new phone. Can't beat $30 for a really nice phone like the trophy.

I got my HTC Trophy from Wirefly.com in July for $29.99 + tax with Free Shipping. Verizon website was selling it for $149 and local stores did not have any in stock or any accessories. I was holding out for Verizon to get WP7 and I am glad I waited.

I got one of the better deals. My TP2 had a cracked display(this was back in June on Trophy release) but, they had no more, I waited for them to get the trophy, So, I got my Trophy paying just my $50 deductable with NO CONTRACT.

And I still have my NE2 for $100, I hope they get the Nokia 900 LTE phone, I would sign a 2 year for that one....

The Trophy is a nice phone, WP7 is very fluid on it but, it's not a high end phone and that is what I desire.

Microsoft Store

Microsoft's online store (they sub out the merchandising to "Simplexity", whoever that is...) for 0.00 dollars and a 30 dollar Verizon gift card. They also threw in free next business day shipping (ordered it on Saturday, got it on Tuesday).

We have 3. All purchased from the Microsoft Store. 2 Purchased in July 2011 for 1? each and came with free car charger for each and 4000 MS Points each. Newest one (for my daughter) was purchased about a week ago. Price: free, but no goodies thrown in this time, except for the $30 card from Verizon.

I know I'm WAY late to this party, but I just ordered mine through eBay, with the hopes that there will be something AMAZING coming to big red. I have been using the iphone and was considering going with the Samsung Galaxy S3 but after running with some issues twice with the order process aka VZ canceling my orders for no reason and no way to have it pre-ordered, took it as a sign. After watching videos of the S3 and Nexus, I found them to be sluggish. I had a small one month venture with the Nokia 710 and I gotta say I miss the OS a lot. So I said screw it and ordered a brand new in unopened box through ebay.

On to Number Two

Well my original HTC Trophy I ordered through Verizon online for about $100 in about October 2011. Then in June 2012 unfortunately while on a camping adventure my beloved Trophy sunk with me in a boat and got ruined by the lake water. Shortly after the week through my insurance with Verizon I got a replacement HTC Trophy for about $50.

I then also convinced my sister that same month to get the HTC Trophy and she got hers through Verizon for about $50 after rebates.

So I'm on HTC Trophy #2 and my sister loves her first one. Had three strong HTC Trophies in my family.

My first smartphone!

This is a sad, depressing story about a young boy's love and how it came to a tragic, shattering end.
T'was the end of June, and my long-sustained relationship with my kin twom had become stale. I wanted the real deal. A windows phone. I scavenged every post on eBay, looking for the phone of my dreams (well, the one I was able to get, considering the fact that I'm shackled to Verizon). After looking for a couple weeks, i finally found one. $145, practically perfect condition. The phone arrived July 2 if I'm not mistaken. From then on, we were inseparable. I installed every update, synced all of my music, pictures, ECT. My experience with my own first smartphone has been wonderful.

A month had passed, when a trip to Virginia beach had come along with no omen of danger. However, a tragic trip to the bathroom changed my life forever. As I attempted to launch a paper towel into the trash can, hacky-sack style, my trophy had slipped from the grip that I had on my pocket. From there, the rest is self-explanatory. As I reached to the floor to pick it up, I prayed that nothing had happened, but my prayers were not answered. Cracks now occupy my screen, obstructing my view, constantly reminding me of that horrid day.

Anyway, the phone works completely fine. Cracked digitizer, a Nick in the camera lens, though hardly noticable, but it's perfectly fine. Plus, my upgrade is in October, so I'm looking forward to the new WP8s on VZW! :)
Also, I just thought I would share that I haven't had to reset it once, and there's barely any stuttering at all! My brother, who has been an apple junkie for a few years now, is even impressed with the features of WP7.5 and how it runs, and this is only first-Gen hardware (if I'm not mistaken)! Anyway, I digress.

I bought mine on ebay about 3-6 months after launch for about $275. Then sold my OG Moto Droid for $100. So net $175 and kept unlimited data. I don't think I'll be so lucky with my 8x purchase. Gonna have to move over to new plans

I got mine at my local Verizon store. The reviews on the website were glowing. The phone was the size I wanted. This is my first smartphone and I have never regretted the purchase.
