What the title says. If we don't have insider hub, how do we know new updates have come out like the recent 10586.63? I missed this update and now it's available but I'm away from wifi until tomorrow

Are you not referring to the "Windows Insider" app?

No, I'm talking about the insider hub app which is different from windows insider which just sets up your phone to receive updates

This is an extract from the last post on the insider blog

Going forward, we won’t be publishing blog posts to announce new Cumulative Updates for Windows Insiders to test. Instead, we’ll publish these announcements in the Insider Hub so please check there for news

Even more unconsistent: in the insider hub (PC), there's a special "phone" quest/task, testing continuum input performance. For phones. In the PC Insider hub. MS logic :D

Gabe has said that this time the Insider Hub is not in the builds, but will be put back in the future. He says for now you have to use Insider Hub on a PC.

And can you use insider hub on pc without using insider builds for pc?

How can I use Insider Hub on PC when I'm not using, and don't want to use Insider builds for PC? And why should Insider Hub FOR PC be used for phone related issues? SMH at MSFT.

I agree with you guys but this is admittedly a temporary situation, before Insider Hub returns with the first RS1 build.
