Which MicroUSB-HDMI cables work?

There are a large number of microUSB-to-HDMI adapters on Amazon. One, I read, doesn't fit tightly. Any other with good results?

sadly no. No MHL chip means no video out via USB.

This is a Surface forum, not WP8. And the answer to the question is NO, because you need a MicroHDMI to HDMI adapter for the surface, and any such adapter will work so get a cheap one from Monoprice.

Any adapter is going to be loose anyway, even the official Microsoft one. That's more to do with the tablet and connector itself more than anything else. The one benefit the Microsoft ones have are that they are pre-angled to match the Surface's angle. However, any microHDMI adapter will connect fine.

Why not Micro-HDMI to HDMI? Cost $1 on ebay and works pretty good ( not that tight connection compared to MS's due to the 22 degree angle)
