Which one is better the 1320 or the 730 (Special Situation)?

yes dude... WP os is basically designed for lower hardware.
if you really check 730 performance with any flagship wp devices then you barely see any difference because 1Gb ram is too much considering WP os..

if you check past of WP then ms basically made wp os to lower hardware same like ios.. but you know ms selling lower end lumias n even past flagships like 920,1020 all runs on dual core...
but you know how are all android users.. they demanding for higher hardware same like android phones hardware so ms now upgrade wp os support for quad core...
performance is still same like old dual core hardware.
I mean,
1 gb wp ram = 2gb droid ram...
all knows android OEMs upgrading to higher hardware because it is unstable. but this factors not applied on WP..

now choice is yours.. every app n game on wp store is supports with 1Gb ram lumia.

yea, i'm aware of the wp smoothness. this is my second wp device but u know, battery life and SOC power on 1320 is tempting. and as i said, i want a better camera but i how no idea how much differences are between them.

BTW, most of u said that i should go for 730 and i think i will : )

offtopic: What's this "future proof" concept that i read couple of times on this page ?

ontopic.. i have both 730 (white) and 1320 (yellow).. and performance wise there is no difference, price also same in India online. 730 easier in pocket n cam when travelling around.. 1320 at home for more of gaming n movie experience. Am not a strong screen quality fanatic/critic.

bench marking with Antutu and Multibench told me that the 1320 has better Cpu than 730, the 730 has better memory ( not sure abt this, may be memory means RAM speed )

My 1320 consumes 10% battery every 1 hour watching the web with wifi, my 730 is nearly 20%

about the future-proof concept, i think the 1320 and 730 are on the same level of future-proof. Both have the same 8GB storage, same 1GB Ram, same 720p resolution.
And non of these device has a modern enough CPU, both are not so powerful, not compatible with 64bits OS, and also do not support Ultrahigh frame rate on anything.

The future here i think will not rely on technical side of the device, but rely on Marketing team at Microsoft, if they think devive is needed to be upgrade, then u will get maybe WP10, but if they dont think so, well maybe we need the next gen of these 2 device

hmm, u made me reconsider the 1320 again. i know the camera in 730 is better, but i dont know how much better is.

i dont care abt glance nor screen size and most importants to me are better performance and bein more future-proof.
so u think opposite the others about the cpu, did u notice any differences in the intense games?

this is so interesting for me that u have both of them. so can u make a quick comparison between the rear camera's? and display quality if u can??

730 all the way in terms of future proof current line up is 1520> 930 >830 =730 difference is lte on 830 ,screensize and dolby digital and qi wireless ,in terms of hardware rest of the specs sare same for the phone and windows 10 will definitely come on 830 as hw specs are same for 730 it will also come on 730 and MSFT has already committed that all lumias will get win 10

the best part of 730 it feels great to hold it in the hand slim, suave ,elegant ,its very light in terms of weight ..
