Hi everyone,

First time poster here. I'm looking at purchasing a windows tablet, my first.

I'm looking for a Windows 8.1 rather then rt as I wish to install the odd programme.

I will mainly be using the tab for microsoft office and entertainment. I have it down to two the Dell Venue 11 Pro or the Toshiba Encore 2 WT10-A 10-inches. Any advice or knowledge on either would be fantastic.

Unfortunately I can not post links to both tablets as I am a new member here.

Both have 2GB Ram
32 GB storage

If anyone would recommend anything else let me know, ideally a 10-inches tablet and no more then ?350 ($500)

There's the ASUS VivoTAB Smart that has 2 GB of RAM and a 32GB or 64 GB of storage, 10 inch screen, it's exactly 400$ for the 32 GB version or 500$ for the 64 GB version.

But ya besides that the Dell Venue 11 5000 series is a good choice. However it's higher than 500$ so I'm not sure where you're getting the price of less than 300 euros but ya.

ASUS VivoTab Smart if you can find one or the Dell Venue 11 Pro

i just got mine from holland for 599 euros and i got 21% back from customs since im not dutch. that was for the surface pro2 128gb by the way. which is ridiculously good. It would probably pay for you to pop over even and collect it by hand. not sure how difficult it is to import stuff from the netherlands. Anyway specifications for value sp2 is unbeatable. sick sick product

Has anyone had any experience of a manufacturer refurbished tablets, I saw a few of the Dell Venue pro 11 on ebay for under ?350 (including postage) that are manufacturer refurbished from America.

They also have 4gb Ram, 120gb storage and the Intel core i3

Manufacturer Refurbished are exactly like new ones. So don't worry about them.

Refurb wouldn't bother me... now sometimes it may have a dent or scratch. But most of the Refurb items I've bought were completely like new.
