Who else wants Lumia 725????

The 720 is a very solid performer, kinda a forgotten member of the lumia family. The battery life put all the others into shame, and an excellent FFC.... I don't mind a 1G RAM & 16GB memory... viola the 725, the perfect midranger.

i want a Lumia 630, with SAME SIZE !!! We have enough 4+ inch screen size phones!!! FFS, 3,8 is great size for smaller hands.
So 620, with little bit better hardware and more battery would be a dream

Just called Nokia care today they said 920,720 and 820 have been stopped. Does it mean Nokia is making new models to replace them?

A Symbian belle user here, planning to wait till 725 is gonna launch. If not planning to go for Lumia 720

aah... a guy using an awesome OS.
hi buddy, i was also using Symbian Belle before WP.
a word of advice, if u wanna try, u may try any Android, but i am quite sure, u will come around to WP bcoz u are still using Symbian. (u wont be satisfied with nothing less)

we don't know whether any 725 is proposed or not yet.

It might be L730 because Nokia is developing Lumia WP8.1 smartphones, but I want this has 16GB storage, 1GB RAM, 1.5 GHz Dual Core CPU, improved 6.7MP camera with new flash, and sexier design. I think adding HD screen and PureView camera was feel too much for this phone

There's absolutely no way Microsoft/Nokia will keep WVGA for the 720 and 820 successors. Most mid ranges now have 720p or sometimes even 1080p. 1GB RAM is also guaranteed (as even the 6xx series now have it) and the CPU will likely be a Snapdragon 600 or similar. Design-wise I have nothing to complain about the 720 so they could even keep it the same :-)

But they should definitely consider upping the internal storage from 8 GB to 16 GB with expansion in form of micro SD card.

sometimes i feel, whatever we have in 720, is really enough. higher resolution, higher RAM, we r gonna loose battery. or we are actually demanding other phone such as 920.
rather, i would love to be with what i have.

I will agree to disagree on your views. 512 MB Ram is not sufficient. Even the benchmarks results say so. But I cannot comprehend how you could draw the conclusion that increasing Ram and resolution will decrease battery life? AFAIK Difference of power requirements between 1 GB and 512 MB Ram are minimal and doesn't really affect battery life.

It doesn't matter if they keep 8 gb on the low-mid range phones as long as they put in an sd-slot! Everybody can have 64gb!

What about installing games which are huge? Asphalt 8 for ex requires 2.5 GB during installation. The phone is left with about 5 GB of free space after a hard rest(7.2 GB actual space and 1.9GB OS). So some users who play games or infact install a lot of apps in their phone find 8 GB a little less. I do.

I would be pretty tempted, but i think the space on my 920 has spoiled me :)

how knows maybe with 8.1 we have apps to SD feature and then ironically the 720 (64GB SD card and the 8GB of internal memory) will have more storage than the 920

I think the key word here is "games". I don't play games on my 720 and installed about 20 apps that I found useful so the 8 GB of space still left me with 2.23 GB to use. I looked for a successor to my beloved N9 about 6 months ago and rejecting both Android and iPhone I decided on the 720 mainly for the long battery life and the Gorilla Glass 2.
So in my case 512 MB ram is sufficient for all my daily needs. To me my 720 is a reliable workhorse that hasn't let me down in any way.
